WinterDASH Volunteer and Sponsorship Opportunities
WinterDASH is a challenging and fun event which raises funds for the Ashwabay Outdoor Educational Foundation, a non-profit community recreation area near Bayfield, Wisconsin.
Volunteer and help make WinterDASH a fun and successful event. From planning and promoting, to guiding participants along the course, you'll provide hands-on help.
  • Prep-work includes making the course, setting up challenges & obstacles, and recruiting particpants & sponsors. This all takes place in the months and weeks leading up to WinterDASH.
  • Event Help takes place the day of the race, when volunteers register participants, help along the course at challenges & obstacles, and sometimes even become an obstacle themselves!
  • WinterBASH is and evening of music, dancing, and fun! Here, volunteers decorate the Bayfield Pavilion, work the doors during the event, and set-up and tear-down for the dance.
Partner with us to promote your business, and support the Ashwabay Outdoor Educational Foundation with our various sponsorship options.
  • Event Sponsors are those who would like title recognition by headlining WinterDASH  or WinterBASH events.
  • Obstacle Sponsors get the chance to claim an obstacle or challenge along the course. Design your own, or take over one of ours. Use it to market your business or organization.
  • Prize Donations are awarded to participants and winners of the race. While we recognize those who complete the course fastest (and slowest), every registrant gets a great swag bag, filled with prizes, coupons, and other marketing materials. This is a great chance for promotion.
